Excellent! Thank you for the enhancements. I particularly love the checkins and events. I can't wait to see what's next!

re: Entry Types:
Even though the default on the dropdown has now been set to "A story about this place" so the title entry box appears immediately (the difference is already visible with far fewer untitled ("the last time I've been to this place") stories that don't invite reading), there is still a BUG with the mechanism:

When you are done writing (or partly), and choose a *preview*, and then want to go back to editing by choosing the edit link, the dropdown reverts to another default – and hides the title.

This, of course, should not happen: (re-)editing an entry after preview which already has a (visible) title should not make it into a different type of entry which hides the title again!

Please fix.

I am sure many of the "the last time I've been to this place" entries still appearing now really started their life with a real title that got lost when some one previewed and didn't notice the title was lost! (I didn't notice at first either... it took stumbling over this several times before I found where the problem was.)

About listsofbests and allconsuming:

I don't like the look of allconsuming either. In fact, I reallty thought it was an *old* site (a very old one): from the era of "we don't really know anything about wesite design yet". The different look also makes for a jarring effect when moving between integrated sites. 43whatsits sites look clean, listsofbests almost (that page header looks ugly though) and allconsuming looks like a left-over that doesn't belong at all.

If these sites are meant to be wholly integrated, there should be some sort of 'master design' that ties them together, where each site could have its own variation on the theme without being so different that it looks like it doesn't belong.

BUG?

I can't see my own comments. On the main page it says "7 comments" (that's two from me) but when I click through I see only 5 (all those *not* from me).

Looks really nice -- having just started here and all, it was all just part of the site for me to begin with, but it's quite something! Gotta question, though -- having linked into my flickr account just fine, it doesn't seem to want to acknowledge any of my newer photos since then. Any guesses?

I love the enhancements to the SF pages -- very nice. BUT I think it might enhance the usefulness of the SF pages to put the Bay Area there together as a grouping. (SF, Oakland, San Jose, etc.)

I love your idea for this site so much!

I decided that I wanted to make a mission, and finish all of my 43 things this summer. I think if we all made our goals a reality it'd make life much more enjoyable!

let me know what you think!
