A tale of two lunches:
Matt's in the Market - downtown by the Pike Place Market. Fried oysters sandwich... yum!
The Bow Street Café - on Western just before it joins with Denny (3131 Western Ave.) Poached chicken sandwich!
Great wines by the glass at both joints.

I've been ravenously hungry for the past two days, and burritos and pizza were the only things that contain enough calories to keep me going. Sometimes food is about taste, other times its about eating enough.

Lately most chosen places don't have big enough meals.

I love eating! Dinette is one of my new picks--they serve fancy toast! I don't think they are open for lunch though. I had a most lovely lunch on the deck at the Pink Door this afternoon. And nothing beats the teriyaki chicken bowl and an egg roll from the Home Deli when I'm suffering at the office with a hangover.

I love to eat. I love french toast for breakfast with cream cheese and raspberries. I love salads for lunch and dinner, well it could be anything from salmon to raviolis to meatloaf to pork chops to filet mignon to chicken cutlets to eggplant lasagna to Gen. Chow chicken to soup with hot Italian bread to lobster rolls to onion rings to hamburgers to hotdogs to chicken parmesan to sole to crab cakes to talapia to grilled veges on angel hair pasta, stuffed shells with spinach, spinach and sausage pies. To go with my coffee after the meal, I love Boston Cream pie, lemon meringue pie, apple crisp, chocolate cake, carrot cake, chocolate ice cream, chocolate and vanilla pudding, baked apples, blueberry pie, jello, pudding cake, flan, creme brule, eclairs, banana splits, sherbet with chocolate hot sauce or caramel sauce and chocolate chip cookies.
My favorite places to eat are outdoor-on the water places. Oh yeah, I forgot ribs, turkey and pumpkin pie. I can eat these things at any time of the day, night, or season. I am not big on spicy things, although I used to be, and I hate liver, clams and any organ foods. Do you enjoy food as much as I do?
