We’ll be taking the site down tonight to implement some database updates around 12:30 AM PST. Everything should be up and running smoothly again by 1:30 at the latest, but we’ll keep the blog updated if we encounter any nasty snags.
UPDATE (12:39 AM) : Sites are back up! If you’re still seeing the Scheduled Downtime page, try hitting Shift while reloading the page or clearing your browser’s page cache. Thanks folks.

Hello dear Robots – everything else seems to work fine, but I cannot get to my “personal page”:http://www.43things.com/person/Taikatalvi however many times I press ‘shift’ and clean up my cache.
And now the personla page works. Magic!
I’m having a different problem… one of my goals doesn’t seem to “stick.” The goal is supposed to be “Learn Turkish,” and I’m on a team of two with another 43Thinger. My three entries on the goal are still there, but I keep getting off and back on the team, and the name of the goal keeps changing. This morning it says “throw a dinner party,” for some reason. I noticed that the goal also disappears and reappears on my teammate’s list from time to time. I could just keep changing the name of the goal back to what it’s supposed to be, but I thought a better option would be to report the problem and get it fixed.
